In recent years, in Okinawa, soil contamination due to oil and other substances has become apparent with the return of U.S. military bases, leading to a serious issue. The main method for addressing oil contamination in Okinawa is treatment through lime mixing; however, this raises concerns as it alters the properties of the soil.
